My father, Fred, behind your grandfather......The next couple in the picture were friends of Pooch and Clarks but I don't remember their names. Clark standing and your father looking on. Mr. Nickel did that mural on the side. He developed this picture and probably made ten copies of it as he did everything. He was a unique man.
My father running a marathon in 1986 with 414 as part of his number.
Dick and Carol's wedding July 28, 1962 Standing next to Carol is Maddy who passed away this year and the little flower girl is their sister Brenda who passed away a couple of years ago. Uncle Eddie is behind Dick and that is Tanya Cappadonia's father, Joe (or Cappy as he is called) next to Dick (not sure you remember her --- at the pool a lot with her mom Linda.)

Late 1959 or early 1960. Pat and Eddie at the head of the boat. Gary on one side (on Eddie's left) and then my father. Danny on the right of Pat and then "Old Grandma". You may wonder how this combination happened to be together on a glass bottom boat in Silver Springs, Florida since they were my mother's relatives and my father and she were divorced. That was the year that old Grandma, Eddie, Pat and boys lived with us in Jacksonville. OK, yes, it was a rather odd situation. I was not on the outing as I was way too cool to go anywhere with family. I had just turned 16 afterall. I wonder about the other people on the boat though. Especially that old man with the hat, next to my father. Where are they all now? Do they have this picture? Wouldn't it be strange if that blonde lady was your mother's sister or something. Very eeerrrie. Does this prove that we're all in the same boat, as people like to say?
